God still does the impossible when we trust Him and seek only to glorify Him.
What makes you weep?
What breaks your heart?
Where is your burden?
The impossible can happen wherever God’s people exalt Jesus Christ, work together, and step out by faith to follow the vision God gives them.
“Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord.” Hosea 10:12. Fallow ground is unproductive and undisturbed. It has to be broken up, tilled and prepared for the seed. The rocks, weeds and debris have to be removed. The tilling has to be deep for there to be a harvest.
What if the disciples had just set around and played “remember when” after the ascension? Thank God they didn’t. They were passionately committed to meeting spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. They taught the Word and they lived it out.
God calls us daily to be people of vision and faith!
Our church is in a 21 day fast that began January 1. I hope you are participating with us. If you have not accepted the challenge, it is not too late start now. Join us in praying for a “breakthrough.”
Today I was remembering Jesus teaching about end time events in Luke 17. He said in the day of his coming that it would be as it was in the days of Noah. His disciples asked who then could be saved. Luke wrote, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” Luke 18:1
Notice He said men and women “ought always to pray,” not when they feel like it, not when they got in trouble, not just in church, they are to always pray and not faint. Revival breakthrough comes when men and women pray and do not faint.
Are you burden for a breakthrough in some area, the lost -family – church – school – family – relationship – country? “…pray and not faint.”
